I am Carina

Hello everybody,

I am Carina, the manager at Emmaus Åland. Together with Linda, whom you already have "met" and Britt-Marie - another key-person that you soon will meet here on the blog, we are the organising team at Emmaus Åland Summer Camp 2007. But the most important team is made up by the other local volunteers, the ordinary staff and friends of Emmaus and by you- the camp members. We will work together during two weeks in August. It might in fact be a lot of sorting and baling work waiting for us. It is important to be flexible and patient. And to have fun.

I am 43 years old. Single mother to Walter 7 years. I have been engaged in Emmaus since 1995. At the moment I am a politician and a MP, but Emmaus will always be where my heart and my home is. I will also be the Conférencier at the famous Emmaus Fashion Show, it is a job I have had for the last twelve years.
